So, what’s not it to have a glass of red wine after a meal?

Antioxidants in moderate portion plays important role in the body as it helps reduce oxidative stress and also lower free radicals. However, studies have it that a higher quantity of antioxidants is reportedly seen in darker grapes used in preparing red wine.

Regulated blood sugar is the same as no diabetes. However, resveratrol present in grape skin helps regulate blood sugar in a diabetic.

Red wine intake on regular basis helps reduce the chances of cancer specifically colon, basal cell, prostate and ovarian cancer.

This effect is noted to be from resveratrol as studies have shown that its effect on the body occludes the main purpose of cancerous cells and its aiding protein.
